Automotive grade Battery Management System with integrated insulation monitoring system, capable of managing batteries Up to 1000V and with off-the-shelf 18s Cell Monitoring Unit. The system is ISO 26262 ASIL D ready and includes EVITA HSM for ISO 21434 cybersecurity standard.

Battery Master Unit (BMC)

  • 1x Signal Improvement Capability CAN-FD transceiver, with partial networking
  • 2x Auxiliary CAN-FD (DeveLinkSTUDIO™ and additional sensors)
  • Software-configurable CAN termination resistor
  • Pyro-fuse driver, redundant overcurrent/crash protection
  • 4x Full-bridge contactor driver (allowing Fast Drop-Out to minimize contactor wearing and prevent contacts from welding during contactor operation)
  • 4x Auxiliary high-side output
  • 6x Contactor feedback
  • 3x Isolated, voltage measurement up to 1000V
  • 1x Isolated, shunt current measurement
  • 1x Dual channel hall current sensor
  • Insulation Monitoring Device
  • Interlock (HVIL) signal generation and diagnostics

Fault tolerant, multiple CMD connectivity

  • 9s-18s cell monitoring
  • Passive balancing up to 300mA

DeveLinkSTUDIO™: the all in one tool for integration and calibration activities

This proprietary tool allows the user to calibrate sensors, change product parameters, flash software updates, and introduce parameter tables.

DeveLinkSTUDIO™ can be applied in the initial phases as well as in the diagnosis, analysis and calibration of embedded software. This versatile tool allows both high-frequency and continuous signal capture, and is prepared for communications with USB, CAN, ETHERNET and UART/RS232 protocols.
